Arriving Home

We found Glory in our mailbox today...what a surprise...didn't realize she was on her way home!

This is a scan of a postcard she had brought home with her from the NC Art Museum.
Here are some pictures from her time with Brown Eyed Starling:

Horses

A postcard from Glory just to say "Hi"

We've had a great time with Glory and she has gotten some wonderful stamps. Yesterday we went to see the HORSES, Saratoga Style and planted a letterbox of the same name. Listed on AQ Glory had her picture taken with the Ice Cream Cone horse in front of the Stewart's Shop.

Can you see Glory ? She is in front of the flowers!

Details about the 4th of July

Hello everyone!
Glory Bear and hosts are "pooped", but we are sad, all of our company has departed :( Glory Bear had a wonderful Fourth of July with the whole family, she joined in the Obstacle Course and was already dressed for the day in her stars "FUR"!! She looked very pretty next to a vase of hydrangeas from our garden. We will be going out early next week to plant a box and to find a few in Saratoga and after that she'll be ready to travel! A trip to Ballston Spa

A note from MInPin Lovers:
Lyndsey, our granddaughter and member of the "Crazy Gray Squirrels" and I decided to take Glory up to Ballston Spa today! Ballston Spa is the birthplace of Abner Doubleday of Baseball History and a quaint little village filled with antique stores and cute shops.. What were we thinking? It topped out at 95 degrees today! Even a stop at the Historic Old Iron Spring didn't cool us off! The water actually tastes pretty "yucky" ,but Glory gave it a try!
The Spring has been in existence since 1900 and is still producing water. We then went on the fitness trail to find The Old Iron Spring Letterbox, the picture of the trees (below) was taken to show how high up we were. If you look closely, you'll see a smoke stack from the old Chocolate factory in the picture . The Chocolate Factory is now a restaurant! Well... as the heat got to us and we searched high and low for the elusive box, we had to give up! We did have a nice walk together . We then headed to the Coffee Planet, a local coffee shop, for some Lemonade and Iced Tea and to retrieve the Celestial Cuppa Letterbox! Success was ours and it was air conditioned. We decided it was to hot to continue Letterboxing and opted to shop instead! We'll go out again soon though.

Glory Arrives!

A Note from MinPin Lovers: GLORY BEAR arrived today and what a cutie, just perfect for the Fourth of July! She jumped right in to help with the decorating and looked quite at home with my Fourth of July Carolers and Uncle Sam. She and Bea exchanged stamps and got to know each other. Bea looks like a giant next to Glory LOL Hoping to get out letterboxing this week before company arrives.
